The Innovation and Engagement Missional Team sponsored a workshop, "Exploring AI in Ministry," on May 20. In this virtual workshop, pastors in the Hawai'i Conference who use AI (artificial intelligence) do some demonstrations and engage in a question-and-answer time for fellow clergy and lay leaders.
How is AI being used? What are the pastoral ethical questions? What are the possibilities? How do we address the fear around AI? What are legitimate fears and what is fear-mongering?
