On Thursday, April 23, 13 deserving young Samoan students were awarded Lumana‘i Scholarships at the 24th Annual Awards Ceremony at Farrington High School on O‘ahu. The Lumana‘i Awards have been a project of the O‘ahu Association of the Hawai‘i Conference. High school seniors may apply for these scholarships and awards, given in several categories, including academic achievement, leadership and community service, scholar athlete, science, social work, and visual arts.
