Keawalaʻi Congregational Church in Makena, Maui has proclaimed Kahu Kealahou Alika with the honorary title of Pastor Emeritus in recognition of his 29 years serving our ʻohana and the wider community of Maui.
On Sunday, January 18, 2026, to celebrate Kahu Alika, he once again conducted a service and was honored by Rev. Dr. David Vásquez-Levy, President of the Pacific School of Religion in California, and Rev. Dr. Alan Akana of Kōloa Union Church on Kaua‘i. As an alumnus of the Pacific School of Religion, Kahu Alika has been a strong proponent of supporting Native Hawaiians considering a career in ministry and a scholarship has been created in his name.
