Haili Youth Launch Fundraiser
Christian Endeavor students of Haili Congregational Church, under the direction of Meli Akimseu, have begun raising funds to attend the World Christian Endeavor Convention which is held every four years in a different country. Four youth from Haili are planning to attend the convention, which will be hosted in Germany in 2023, with Meli who is the East Hawai‘i Christian Endeavor Representative.
August 7th marked the start of the fundraiser which will continue every first Sunday. Youth prepared and sold lunch plates for $6.00—what a deal! If you're near Haili Church (211 Haili Street, Hilo, Hawai‘i) on a first Sunday, go check out what these youth have to offer.

Kahu Kordell Kekoa, who was involved in Christian Endeavor, shared encouragement with the students and was the first to donate to the fundraiser.
