In the wake of the devastating Kona storms affecting communities across Hawaii, our hearts are with you and all those within the Hawaii Conference who are experiencing loss, disruption, and hardship. We recognize that as leaders and people of call, you offer hope, comfort, and guidance to others—even as you may be navigating these challenges personally. In times such as these, the Pension Boards remains committed to supporting you so that you can continue your ministry without bearing this burden alone.
Emergency Grant assistance is available to those affected by flooding through the United Church Board for Ministerial Assistance (UCBMA), the philanthropic arm of the Pension Boards. These grants are available to active or retired UCC clergy, lay church workers, and Members in Discernment.
Anyone looking to apply for an Emergency Grant can send an email, if they are able, to ministerialassistance@pbucc.org, or call 1.800.642.6543.
Please read and share this Emergency Grant resource and call us for assistance.
