Karen Georgia Thompson talks with HCUCC for first time as UCC General Minister and President

On her 117th day (yes, she’s keeping count!) as General Minister and President (GMP) of the United Church of Christ (UCC), Rev. Dr. Karen Georgia Thompson spent some time with us before returning home after weeks of travel and ministry.

Though she is not a stranger to the Hawai‘i Conference, this was her first visit to Hawai‘i since being installed as GMP! She allowed us to lead the conversation with our questions… we give thanks for her sharing of wisdom, experiences, and the UCC’s work!
