Global Ministries commemorates 10th anniversary of Fukushima "triple disaster"
On March 11, 2011, the Fukushima Prefecture in Japan was hit by an earthquake, massive tsunami, and failure of a nuclear power plant.
Ten years later on March 17, 2021, Global Ministries commemorated the tragic event with a discussion of the painful legacy and a prayer commemorating the 10th anniversary of the “triple disaster” in Japan. Featured in the discussion is an interview with Terumi Kataoka, Representative of the Aizu Radiation Information Center in Fukushima Prefecture.
