Event: "Healing a Divided Nation & Church: A Virtual Conversation with Rev. Jim Wallis"
Join the Rev. David Turner of Church of the Crossroads in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, and Books & Spirits who will host "A Virtual Conversation" (via Zoom) with the Rev. Jim Wallis. This conversation, with time for questions and answers, will focus on Wallis' books America's Original Sin and Christ in Crisis and how we have been torn apart by bitter partisan politics, institutional racism, and Christian Nationalism.
Rev. Jim Wallis is an activist, the author of ten books, and a preacher who is widely regarded as one of the leading voices in the Progressive Faith Movement. He is the founder and leader of Sojourners, whose mission is to put faith into action for social justice.
