Two individuals from Hawai‘i Conference churches have graduated from the Pacific School of Religion this May 2026.

At the Spring Mokupuni of the ‘Aha O Na Mokupuni ‘O Maui, Moloka‘i A Me Lāna’i on May 16, there were about 30 in attendance at Wailuku Union Church, representing over half the churches in the Association.

Daniel Kidder-McQuown was installed by the O‘ahu Association as Settled Pastor of Waipahu United Church of Christ on Sunday, May 17.

The Hawai'i Island Association held their 'Aha Mokupuni on May 16, 2026, with an Ecclesiastical Council to grant Privilege of Call to Rev. Eric Page at Hokuloa UCC.

A Community Vigil for Peace was held to honor the 75,000+ killed in Gaza since October 2023 with over 1,000 names read aloud by representatives of various faiths.

On Thursday, April 23, 13 deserving young Samoan students were awarded Lumana‘i Scholarships at the 24th Annual Awards Ceremony at Farrington High School on O‘ahu. The Lumana‘i Awards have been a project of the O‘ahu Association of the Hawai‘i Conference. High school seniors may apply for these scholarships and awards, given in several categories, including academic achievement, leadership and community service, scholar athlete, science, social work, and visual arts.

Emergency Grant assistance is available to those affected by flooding through the United Church Board for Ministerial Assistance (UCBMA), the philanthropic arm of the Pension Boards. These grants are available to active or retired UCC clergy, lay church workers, and Members in Discernment.
