The Conference Council at its first meeting of the new fiscal year was joined by Geoffrey Black, UCC General Minister and President, and Karen Georgia Thompson, UCC Ecumenical Officer.  In addition to receiving updates from them about the national church and the UCC’s ecumenical and interfaith relationships, the Council took time for orientation, established a process to receive proposals from audit firms for this year’s audit, and set the dates of June 5-6, 2015, for the 'Aha Pae'aina to take place at Central Union Church.  To find out more about the work of the Council, email Chair Iese Tuuao or Conference Minister Charles Buck.
