Waiola Church in Lahaina, Maui, celebrated its 195th Anniversary on September 16 with a tomb protocol by Nā Kia'io Waine'e, worship, a presentation on the church's history by Dr. Ron Williams of the state archives, and a lu'au lunch with local musicians entertaining attendees. The church was founded by the Sacred High Chiefess Keōpūolani in 1823.
