Morita Scholarship for Kaua‘i high school seniors

About the Scholarship
The lsamu Morita and Takako Martha Morita Trust was set up by its donors (former pastor and members of Kapa‘a United Church of Christ) to provide scholarships for high school seniors from any of the three public high schools on Kaua‘i seeking a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university. Scholarships may be renewed for awardees for additional academic years when requirements are met. Awardees may seek additional scholarships for post-graduate work.


Amount: $10,000
Deadline: April 30, 2026
Awards Available: 3
State: Hawai‘i – Island of Kaua‘i Only
Majors: BA or BS
Eligibility Criteria:

  • Graduate from Kauaʻi Public High School (Kapaʻa, Kauaʻi, Waimea)

  • Seeking BA or BS Degree

  • Future Plans & Aspirations

  • Personal Interest/Attributes

  • Financial Need    

 

Application Process

  • Ensure you meet the eligibility requirements before applying.

  • Submit your scholarship application by April 30, 2026.

  • Scholarship winners will be notified by June 15, 2026 by letter, email, and/or phone call.
