Deliver Us,
the 2020 Lenten Devotional from the Stillspeaking Writers Group, includes a biblical text, reflection, and prayer for each day.
The Transformation: From Darkness to Light is written by youth and young adults in the UCC and includes a 46-day devotion and an additional message from General Minister and President, John Dorhauer.

(2020) Former Hawaii Conference Associate Conference Minister Donald Schmidt has recently published two Bible studies with Wood Lake Publishing that are appropriate for this season: Death of Jesus for Progressive Christians and Easter for Progressive Christians. Each 5-week study invites you to dig into your faith as you explore the scriptures for these seasons, and let the Bible really speak to you. They are available from Amazon.com in both print and electronic editions.
(2020) Observe Lent with Kamehameha Schools Devotionals
Kamehameha Schools has created a series of Hawaiian-focused devotionals for Lent, to honor the deep Christian faith of our founder Princess Pauahi. The devotionals were designed to be used by staffers, students, and others to celebrate the coming of Easter. Subscribe to receive the latest weekly devotionals by email.
(2020) Creation Justice Ministries has a free lent calendar available for download which highlights an eco-focused reflection and/or action one can do each day during Lent to address the climate crisis.
(2020) To accompany the Ash Wednesday release of the United Church of Christ's report entitled "Breath to the People: Sacred Air and Toxic Pollution," six environmental justice leaders in the UCC have authored reflections to help preachers connect the contents of the report to each Sunday in Lent. The overarching theme for these reflections is "Journey Toward Hope."
(2019) Young Voices: Stepping Out of the Wilderness is a 47 day devotion to walk you through Lent and concludes with the good news of Easter Sunday. All entries were written by UCC youth and young adults between the ages of 12 and 35 who span the spectrum of gender identity, sexuality, racial, and ethnic diversity. This lenten study is available for download for $5. Proceeds will be used for additional programs and outreach for youth and young adults in the United Church of Christ.

(2019) Open the Heart: A Lenten Devotional
Members and friends of Church of the Holy Cross United Church of Christ in Hilo, Hawai’i, have contributed these reflections. Some are prose, some are poetry, some are photographs, some are drawings. You will find the fresh imagination of keiki and the seasoned experience of kupuna. You will find thinking honed by education and you will find the unencumbered dance of new encounters with the Spirit. In short, you will find a wide range of people bringing their wisdom, spirit, knowledge and... heart. May their gifts help you to open your own heart... wide.
