Susumu "Sus" Yamane, 90, Retired Pastor, passed away on July 9. He was ordained in 1953 and was recently recognized at this year's 'Aha Pae'aina on his 65th anniversary of ordination. Before retiring in 1993, he had faithfully served Church of the Holy Cross in Hilo for 22 years. Sus is survived by his wife, Miyeko, their children Naomi, Deborah, and Jon, and their families.
