Ephesians 2:13-19

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household.

This year's Pastoral Leaders Retreat invites you to a time of bridging together in peace and friendship on the beautiful north shore of Oʻahu with the guidance of retreat leaders Dr. Ray Aldred and Rev. Nani Hill.

RETREAT LEADERS

Dr. Manulani Meyer is a well-respected speaker and thought leader on Hawaiian wisdom and justice. Larissa Marks, a spiritual director on Oʻahu, joins us again to help guide our time together in both receiving and responding to the wisdom gained.

Monday, September 8

1-4pm - Relaxed fellowship at Waialua UCC Church as people arrive

4pm - Begin checking in at Camp Mokule‘ia and get settled into the rooms

6pm - Dinner, first session to follow

Wednesday, September 10

1pm - Retreat ends after lunch

 

Flying in? For those scheduling airline tickets and who will need shuttle service:  

Please book your flights to arrive between 1pm – 3pm on September 8 and depart after 3pm on September 10.

RETREAT COSTS

Full Retreat costs include single-occupancy lodging*, meals, and retreat content

*If we exceed the amount of rooms, we may need to ask participants to share a double-occupancy room.  

 

• Early-Bird Special from June 12-19 (postmarked) - $150 per person
   

• Full Retreat from June 20 and on - $175 per person 
   

• Commuter (includes retreat content, lunch and dinners) - $75 per person
   

• Beyond UCC Registration - $255 per person – This year we are offering a "Beyond UCC Registration" for the pastoral leaders of denominations and congregations that are not part of the Hawai‘i Conference UCC.  These registrations will be accepted after July 25, based on availability.  ​

Churches are encouraged to pay their pastor's registration fees!
