Central Union Invites Churches to Join in Remembrance of Those Lost to COVID-19

Central Union Church will remember Hawai'i's COVID-19 deaths on All Saints Sunday, November 1. At noon, their tower bell will toll in memory of each life lost to COVID-19 in Hawai'i, as of the October 31 count. In addition to tolling the bell, an empty chair for each person lost to COVID-19 will be placed on the Great Lawn fronting Beretania Street as a visual marker of the lives lost.

Central Union invites sister churches to join in honoring these deceased individuals, in whatever way seems right and appropriate for themselves, at noon on All Saints Day. Hawai'i Conference churches are encouraged to share their remembrances online by tagging the Hawai'i Conference UCC (@ucc.hawaii) on Facebook or Instagram.

Central Union Church is located at 1660 South Beretania Street in Honolulu, Hawai‘i.
