‘Aha Youth Camp – Prepare to Register!
Ecclesiastes 11:9 Young people, it’s wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to do; take it all in. But remember that you must give an account to God for everything you do.
The Hawai‘i Conference United Church of Christ invites youth from our Conference to participate in the Youth Track of this year’s ‘Aha Pae‘āina. The event will take place from Wednesday, June 11, to Saturday, June 14, 2025. Youth will spend approximately two days at the Waineke Cabins in Koke‘e on the island of Kaua‘i, before traveling down to Kapa‘a on Friday, June 13, to participate in the ‘Aha Makua portion of the ‘Aha Pae‘āina. In Kapa‘a, youth will be housed at Kapa‘a United Church of Christ and the Kapa‘a First Hawaiian Church. The youth track ends at noon on Saturday, June 14.
Cost per youth will be $50 which includes airfare/transportation, housing, and meals.
Due to our limited capacity at the cabins, we are accepting 30 youth participants for the youth track – those who will be entering 7th grade through those who have completed 12th grade. Note: All HCUCC churches are allowed one youth delegate (up to 30 years of age) at the ‘Aha Pae‘āina. Churches may send their youth delegate to the ‘Aha Makua for the $50 rate if they qualify and register for the Youth Track.
The following registration/acceptance guidelines have been set in place:
