"Wrestling with the Questions: The Bible, Midrash, and Inquiry Based Preaching," a summer course for students in Pacific School of Religion's Doctor of Ministry program, will be held July 30 – August 3, 2:30 – 5 p.m., at the Hawai'i Conference Office (1848 Nu'uanu Avenue, Honolulu). This class will be taught by PSR President David Vasquez-Levy and Karla Suomala and Continuing Education Units or Academic Credit is available.
A workshop entitled "Atonement: How Jesus Saves Us" will be offered August 10-11, at Wailuku Union Church (327 South High Street, Wailuku). The workshop will be led by Randi Walker, who will retire as director of the Pacific School of Religion Doctor of Ministry Program at the end of June. The course is funded in part by the Tri-Isle Association and is part of the Equipping Tomorrow's Church Leaders program.
